Improve a local research page's layout and typography
A third-party open-source Skill by Paul Bakaus for reviewing and refining frontend layout, typography, accessibility and responsive behavior.
What can it do?
Provide a local frontend and a focused brief; the assistant helps identify issues and deliver reviewed source changes and a browser preview.
You provide
- A local research homepage or other frontend project, its intended audience, truthful content and the page or component to improve.
- Brand constraints, existing design context, representative screenshots and the desktop/mobile sizes to check.
You receive
- Prioritized findings with changes to frontend source, layout, typography and responsive behavior.
- A local browser preview and a concise record of checks, remaining issues and any changed design documentation.
Documentation reviewed: 2026-10-20. Installation and the complete workflow have not been tested end to end by AimatraLab.
Prepare your project
Open your own project in Codex or Claude Code, with permission to read and write files and run commands. An ordinary web chat may not be able to install a Skill.
- Codex or Claude Code with access to the local frontend's files, commands and browser preview, plus that project's existing development environment.
- The bundled launcher runs a self-contained engine binary and may download it on first use. Node.js is needed for the optional npx installer, not for the launcher itself.
- Review network and privacy settings first: update checks, visual-direction catalogs, preview images and optional choice reporting can contact upstream services. Paid image-generation routes require separate authorization and credentials.
- Automatic edit hooks are optional. Keep them off for the first project-local installation and preserve existing configuration.
These requests run in your assistant's host environment. This page provides guidance; it does not run AI tasks or collect your project files.
Ask to install
Copy this request into your project conversation. Ask the assistant to review the original Skill and explain any required setup before using it.
Installation request
I am using Codex or Claude Code with project file and command access. Review Impeccable at https://github.com/pbakaus/impeccable commit 46b822f7dda9f7dba799a9c7776fdc19b3a93559 (Skill metadata version 4.7.0), its root LICENSE and NOTICE.md, and the matching host-specific Skill folder. For Codex, the selected source is .agents/skills/impeccable; for Claude Code, use that snapshot's .claude/skills/impeccable format. Retrieve the complete matching Skill, including references, scripts, launchers and bundled agent files, then install only in the current project without overwriting existing Skills or configuration. Preserve author attribution, LICENSE and NOTICE.md. Do not enable automatic hooks, modify hook manifests, install globally or use force-overwrite options. If suggesting the official CLI installer, use project scope and --no-hooks and explain its version before running it; do not claim it matches the fixed snapshot without verification. Before executing the launcher, explain the engine binary download, update checks, catalog requests and telemetry settings. Do not enable API keys, paid image generation or other paid services. Report paths, source commit, Skill version and how this host invokes it, then wait for my task.

Try your first task
Once installation is confirmed, replace the example paths and details with your own files, then send this request in the same project.
First-use request
Use the installed Impeccable Skill to improve the layout and typography of my local sandbox/research-homepage/ project. Inspect the current code and preview first, preserve the project's factual content and brand, and briefly identify the most useful refinements. Improve hierarchy, spacing, readable type and contrast, then check the local page at 390px and 1440px widths. Deliver editable source and a local browser preview with the checks and remaining issues. Keep this inside the sandbox: do not change a production site, deploy, alter backend/authentication, enable automatic hooks or use paid APIs. Explain any network-dependent design mode before using it.

Review the result
- Prioritized findings with changes to frontend source, layout, typography and responsive behavior.
- A local browser preview and a concise record of checks, remaining issues and any changed design documentation.
Ask your assistant where each output was saved and how it was checked. Compare the result with your original inputs before you use or share it.
Questions & limits
- Source and documentation checked on 2026-10-20; installation, engine execution, hooks and complete design workflows have not been tested here.
- It is not purely a text prompt or an offline-only tool: launchers can download an engine, and some workflows request online catalogs or previews. Turning off choice telemetry does not disable all network requests.
- The official installer can offer automatic hooks, commonly enabled by default. First use should keep them disabled unless the user explicitly chooses and trusts them; do not overwrite host configuration.
- Automated design findings do not prove accessibility, correctness or scientific accuracy. Review the rendered page and protect factual content and existing behavior.
Can I upload files and run this here?
This guide does not provide online execution or file uploads. Work with the files in your own Codex or Claude Code project.
What if my assistant cannot install it?
Confirm that you are in a project conversation with file and command access. Ask the assistant to show the failed step and missing dependency, then use the pinned source below to check the instructions.
